The family of PBS TJ40 turbojet engines features a compact design and excellent thrust-to-weight ratio. The engines are available in several versions incl. the PBS TJ40-G2 with high electric power output. The fully redundant DA 30-HT-D has been developed for applications with the highest reliability demands. The redundant – two channel – design of the actuator allows continuous operation even if one of the two channels has failed. All major components such as the electric motors, control and communication electronics, and power supply are available twice (redundant). The position sensor features a three channel design (for 2 out of 3 voting).
