We developed and optimized an object detection and tracking solution tailored for edge environments using Intel Atom platforms with OpenVINO. The system combines MobileNetV3-SSDLite for detection and MobileNetV3-Small for tracking, enabling efficient real-time performance on resource-constrained devices. Through model optimization and inference acceleration, we achieved over 2x improvement in FPS and more than 50% enhancement in inference speed, all while maintaining detection and tracking accuracy. This demonstrates the solution’s suitability for lightweight, low-power edge AI applications

This EGR-Cooler prototype, developed in collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company, was fabricated using EOS Stainless Steel 316L, renowned for its excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties in demanding automotive applications. The part was additively manufactured over a period of 64 hours, demonstrating the advanced capabilities of metal 3D printing for precision and reliability. Unlike conventional designs, this innovative component integrates 14 separate parts into a single, unified structure, greatly simplifying assembly while enhancing operational efficiency. The implementation of a Triply Periodic Minimal Surface (TPMS) structure within the cooler significantly improves heat exchange performance and enables substantial weight reduction, meeting next-generation thermal management requirements. Localization development in progress for general components of Tank

This miniaturized system allows, depending on the desired configuration, to move very precisely between 1 and 3 sets of lenses over a stroke of several centimeters. The design has been optimized to ensure perfect alignment of the lenses and to minimize their tilt throughout the movement. This optomechanical system mainly consists of high-precision standard MPS and FAULHABER modules, such as brushless or stepper motors, ground ball screws with double nuts and linear ball bearings. It is particularly recommended for focusing a laser over a long distance, for example for the guidance of unmanned flying objects or for communication between flying objects. The number of lens sets, lens size and stroke can be configured at will.

Our advanced mine detector combines photochemical and metal detection technologies, enabling the identification of both metallic and non-metallic mines. Selected in December 2024 for the Global Small but Strong Enterprise Development Program by KRIT, this cutting-edge system is now under development.
