Poongsan produces ammunition of various types and calibers, including anti-aircraft shells, mortar shells, howitzer shells, tank shells, recoilless rifle shells, naval artillery shells, and aviation shells.
In particular, in recent years, new types of ammunition have been developed, such as anti-tank ammunition with improved penetration, range extender ammunition with dramatically extended range, Goal Keeper ammunition used in Korean destroyers, and dual-purpose ammunition that can suppress tanks and multiple troops at the same time.
