Our products are used for manufacturing interior design components for civil and military aircraft construction. Sandwich structures are used in many areas of an aircraft (storage compartments, interiors, wings) to reduce weight. In order to structurally strengthen the honeycombs or insert them, they often have to be filled during the production process. Typical materials are one- and two-component epoxy resins with a very high proportion of hollow glass spheres. These require extremely gentle handling, as they would otherwise be destroyed, which in turn would result in an increase in density. Common application patterns are beads, circles, full surfaces and egde-filling. The job is often done manually, which results in long production times and high running costs due to material waste. Lack of reproducibility is just as problematic as the health hazard often posed by these media. The SC-HPCRTM is a Rear Transition Module (RTM) designed to extend the I/O functionality of the HPC2812 high-performance computing board. It can be mounted on the rear side of the VPX backplane to enhance system connectivity and I/O flexibility. Since the HPC2812 board consists of two computing nodes, the SC-HPCRTM provides dedicated interfaces for each node, including Ethernet, USB, MMCX, and Mini-HDMI ports, ensuring optimal data communication and display output performance in mission-critical embedded systems.

We developed and optimized an object detection and tracking solution tailored for edge environments using Intel Atom platforms with OpenVINO. The system combines MobileNetV3-SSDLite for detection and MobileNetV3-Small for tracking, enabling efficient real-time performance on resource-constrained devices. Through model optimization and inference acceleration, we achieved over 2x improvement in FPS and more than 50% enhancement in inference speed, all while maintaining detection and tracking accuracy.
