Consists of a Data Transmission and Recording Unit (DTRU) for data transmission and collection, and a Removable Mass Memory (RMM) for data storage. Stores pre-planned flight mission data in the RMM on the ground and transmits it to the aircraft via the DTRU. It is commonly used in industrial and other devices to generate triggers ranging from one to several thousand FPS, ensuring precise timing synchronization with various devices. Periodic Mode: Continuously generates trigger signals after configuration. Burst Mode: Generates a single trigger signal upon receiving the best command via serial communication. *** Product Expansion and Usage ***  Four Operating Modes  Periodic mode: Generates a single-cycle signal based on the configured frequency and duty ratio.  Burst mode: Generates a single-cycle signal synchronized with a software trigger.  External trigger mode: Generates a single-cycle signal synchronized with an external trigger.  External trigger bypass mode: Distributes signals triggered externally.  Connect the trigger output signals from a Master Trigger Generator to a Slave Trigger Generator (as shown below).  By connecting one of the Master TG’s Trigger Outputs (1 to 16) to the Slave TG’s External Trigger Input: Outputs 1 to 15 of the Master TG remain unchanged. Outputs 16 to 31 of the Slave TG will mirror the Master TG’s Trigger Output. (Note: Each trigger signal passing through a TG experiences a delay of ten ns. However, since trigger outputs operate in the range of tens to thousands of Hz, users will not notice the delay).  Example with 17 TGen-16C units: Produces up to 256 Trigger Output Channels (16 × 16).

This Ka-band antenna and data transmission device incorporates electronic beam steering antenna technology and software-defined radio technology as part of the Ka-band downlink system for satellites. It serves as a key component of data downlink systems within the satellite payload, supporting high-speed data transmission. The device enables system optimization through miniaturization, lightweight design, and single-unit modularization.

Between Earth and space: stratosphere-compatible, solar-powered high-altitude aircraft, known as HAPs (High Altitude Platforms), offer a sustainable alternative to satellites for Earth observation and communication. They are reusable, cost-effective and flexible in use. The DLR joint project HAP-alpha is developing such a technology demonstrator and is endeavoring to establish a complete system capable of permanent operation. The aim is for DLR to build up comprehensive expertise for the development of high-performance, high-flying solar aircraft and to play an active role in shaping the legal framework. In summer 2025, the HAP-alpha successfully passed a ground vibration test.

The Fuel Heater is engine-mounted with fluid connections to both the engine fuel supply system and the engine lube oil system. The heater provides fuel heating for fuel de-icing, using engine lube oil flow during aircraft cold start and cold operation periods.
