Based on the KN series MIL-DTL-55302 compliant connectors an ESA version of the KNB/KNC connectors has been created, which also offers signal contacts designed for demanding defense, commercial aerospace and space applications. The DA 30 series can be equipped with a standard PWM input (Pulse Width Modulation) that has two different interfaces: a differential, galvanic isolated interface (Opto‐Coupler) and a single‐ended interface with CMOS levels that is also used to program the servo parameters. It includes analog position feedback to detect the drive shaft position. A differential RS‐422 PWM interface can be chosen instead of the opto‐coupled interface. The DA 30 with digital serial command interface (RS‐485) receives its commands via a CRC secured protocol. It can return not only the shaft position in digital format, but also several diagnostic data such as the level of the supply voltage, current consumption and the temperature of the motor and electronics in digital form (optionally also the humidity within the actuator case). These kind of diagnostic capabilities help to determine the health state of the actuators before, during and after deployment.

Our LiDAR uses a custom-designed laser that separates 1064 nm and 532 nm wavelengths from a single source, with two dedicated receivers capturing each set of data independently. Inside the system, the linear laser beam is refracted at a 10-degree angle through a prism to enable circular scanning. An RF module is also integrated for real-time equipment status monitoring. From circuit board design to component selection, every part of this system was developed in-house by multiple institutions. As a result, we have successfully eliminated reliance on foreign technology.
