Our electronics business sector has been producing copper cladded laminates of printed circuit boards for over 20 years. To meet high heat dissipation for the newest electronic technology, we have developed metal based laminates and carbon laminates.

Supports non-destructive inspection of aircraft composite skin structures and is composed of a piezoelectric layer sensor, data acquisition equipment, and damage analysis software. Utilizes piezoelectric sensors to generate Lamb-wave and acquire signals, collecting data to accurately detect and assess composite damage. Active phased array fire control radar (AESA) for aircraft A fire control multi-function radar (MFR) that can simultaneously detect, identify, and track multiple targets, including in the air and on the ground, and has SAR and NCTR functions. Aircraft (fighter)-mounted AESA radar is a core sensor for fighter jets to perform day/night/all-weather multiple missions. It operates in multiple modes such as air-to-air/air-to-ground/air-to-sea/support mode, and acquires ground images and air/ground in electronic warfare situations. It is essential mission equipment for fighter jets that detects/tracks multiple targets and supports guided missile guidance and gun shooting.

Lumir is the first Korean company to successfully develop and manufacture this onboard equipment, delivering superior performance and significant cost savings compared to competitors’ products. By integrating non-volatile NAND flash devices into the image data handling unit, storage capacity has been significantly increased, with data retention maintained even when the power is off.The image data handling unit of the satellite is a core device that receives high-speed, large-capacity data output from Earth observation sensors mounted on the satellite—such as SAR or optical cameras—then compresses and stores the data in real time, while also performing encryption and encoding for transmission to ground stations. Lumir has successfully developed and manufactured this satellite-mounted device domestically in Korea for the first time, breaking reliance on imported technologies. This achievement secures Lumir’s competitiveness by delivering superior performance and significant cost savings compared to foreign products.
