Bradley A4 ECP
The Bradley A4 features the latest digitized electronics for optimum situational awareness, network connectivity and communication within the Armored Brigade Combat Team. The Bradley A4’s proven durability and commonality of design reduce the logistics burden, while enhancing battlefield performance to meet a variety of mission requirements in close- combat, urban scenarios and open-combat situations.

Survivability – Improvements to the Fire Suppression and IED jammer components further enhance survivability by reducing the likelihood of system detectability and target acquisition by external systems and defeats external threats.

Mobility – System is capable of maximizing its acceleration capabilities due to the increased engine horsepower in order to provide rapid movement of the System in reaction to combat or other adverse situations. Enhanced mobility function provides driver with improved situational awareness and mobility functionality status. Lethality – Leveraging the lethality functionality from its predecessor, the Bradley A4 consists of full ballistic fire control hosted on a new central processing unit, aided dual-target tracking, automatic gun target adjustment, automatic bore sighting and hunter-killer capabilities. The Bushmaster 25mm cannon fires both explosive and armor piercing rounds, while TOW missiles defeat enemy armor. The 7.62mm coaxial machine gun provides high volume fires at close ranges.

Networkability – Integration of improved computing system assets allows housing of more robust software applications in order to provide improved near real-time networking situational awareness to soldiers on both platform variants.

Supportability – Improvements to on-board diagnostics systems provide increased fault detection and isolation capabilities and added interactive electronic manuals enhance maintenance capability.

Carbon Composite Fuel Quantity Probes
Liquid Measurement System (LMS) capacitance AC and DC fuel gauging probes use lightweight and durable carbon composite materials. In addition to being some of the lightest fuel probes in the industry, they are also virtually immune to corrosion, cracking, dents, and extreme field conditions. Our capacitance probes are inherently crash resistance by collapsing onto itself during hard impact landings to avoid tank penetration and fuel leaks. All electrical connections on the probe are bonded, and there is no friction or riveted electrical connections.

Turnkey Solution - DVE- und SAS Systems with DVU - Digital Video Distribution Unit DVE systems with up to two cameras can be built as direct camera-monitor systems (CMS). For the integration of a larger number of cameras, our advanced VDU represents the signal processing core for all Kappa’s turnkey AE DVE & SAS systems. This high-speed and digital FPGA based processing core offers multiple HD-SDI camera inputs and several HD-SDI outputs for lowest system latency performance glass-to-glass. Additional control and H.264 IP streaming interfaces greatly increase the VDU flexibility and enable information sharing between vehicles. Controlled by the crew or the gearbox switch, the VDU processes the selected camera channels, mixes and scales multiple camera information, performs driver assistance and tactical overlays of text and icons, and fi nally routes the selected view data to the respective output for display on the cockpit monitors. Best in class signal processing techniques and scaling algorithms guarantee the low latency generation of crisp and sharp images even under severe difficult ambient light conditions. Day & Night Vision (VIS/LWIR), image fusion, near-zero latency, scalable solutions up to 360° surround-view, adaptable FoV.

AI Navigation Algorithm The Certus Mini range features Advanced Navigation’s revolutionary AI neural network sensor fusion algorithm. The algorithm was designed for control applications and has a high level of health monitoring and instability prevention to ensure stable and reliable data. High-Performance MEMS The Certus Mini range contains high performance MEMS sensors that are put through Advanced Navigation’s intensive 8 hour temperature calibration process. This provides the highest accuracy possible from this sensor class and outputs consistent accuracy over the full temperature range from -40°C to 85°C. Reliability The Certus Mini range has been designed from the ground up for mission-critical control applications where reliability is essential. Built using a safety-oriented real-time operating system, all software is designed and tested to high safety standards with fault-tolerance in mind. The Certus Mini range is designed, manufactured and tested to military standards. L1/L5 Multi Constellation RTK GNSS The Certus Mini D supports L1/L5 dual frequencies, and GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou and NavIC constellations. Access to multiple constellations and frequencies provides enhanced accuracy, availability and performance even in difficult environments such as multi-storey urban canyons. The GNSS receiver has 10 mm position accuracy with real-time RTK or post-processed PPK. Dual Antenna Heading The Certus Mini D provides a high accuracy heading solution using two GNSS antennas. The Certus Mini D rapidly and consistently maintains an accurate heading without the need for magnetic calibration and is unaffected by magnetic interference. Additionally, the system can determine heading while stationary. This makes it well-suited to applications where there is limited, or no, positional movement.
