Plane Windows are used as substrates for a variety of applications, such as laser window, output couplers, beamsplitters, beam combiners, mirrors, dichroic filters and plate polarizers. Considerations in selecting window substrates include transmission range, absorption coefficient, incident laser power density and environmental factors such as pressure, temperature, moisture, abrasion and corrosion. Plane Windows listed under UV / VIS / NIR substrates are specified for applications involving coating wavelengths 193nm ≤ λ〈2.0 μm. Units for these substrates are given in mm. Plane Windows listed under IR substrates are specified for applications involving coating wavelengths λ≥ 2.0 μm. Units for these substrates are given in inches. SURI-A is a compact design thermal sight based on high performance infrared detector meeting military grade requirement. It uses a lightweight un-cooled thermal imager and advanced optic providing soldiers a one-stop solution for reconnaissance, patrol and engagement, regardless of light and battle field conditions. It is a versatile, multipurpose sight that is compatible on a broad range of Fire Arms.

The personal pocket-sized ISR capability allows imediate situational awareness for soldiers executing dismounted operations globally. The system provides real-time live motion video back to the operator and the opportunity to take snapshots during missions.

We developed and optimized an object detection and tracking solution tailored for edge environments using Intel Atom platforms with OpenVINO. The system combines MobileNetV3-SSDLite for detection and MobileNetV3-Small for tracking, enabling efficient real-time performance on resource-constrained devices. Through model optimization and inference acceleration, we achieved over 2x improvement in FPS and more than 50% enhancement in inference speed, all while maintaining detection and tracking accuracy. This demonstrates the solution’s suitability for lightweight, low-power edge AI applications

PELICAN-D LW is a 640x512 elements, 15μm pitch, Type-2 SuperLattice (T2SL) technology based 2D Long Wave Infrared (LWIR) digital IDCA. The new ROIC outputs digital signal, similarly to SCD’s previous digital detectors: Sebastian-320, Sebastian-480, Sebastian-640, Pelican-D, Hercules, and Blackbird. Pelican-D LW is available in the same configurations as the standard (MW) Pelican-D, with a large variety of cold shield apertures and cooler types. The proximity board provides the FPA timing and sensitive power supplies. Camera-Link interface highly simplifies the integration of the detector to the system.
