The High Operating Temperature (HOT) Focal Plane Array (FPA) functions efficiently at 150K or 120K, enabling a large-format detector that excels in image quality while maintaining a relatively compact size, weight, and power consumption. The UHF-band TRX module features transmit diversity, allowing selection between two transmit ports and providing an output power of at least 1 W. It includes a gain control function for transmission and an internal local oscillator for IF-to-UHF upconversion. Transmit functions also include ALC (Automatic Level Control) and over-temperature protection. On the receive side, the module selects one of two input channels and performs downconversion. It supports AGC (Automatic Gain Control) with a response time of 80 µs, enabling real-time gain adjustment based on input signal level. The dynamic range of the receive input spans from -100 dBm to -20 dBm, and the noise figure is 5.0 dB or less. Both transmit and receive paths include built-in path self-test functions.
