The HXB15 Connectors, featuring expanded beam technology, hermaphroditic connection, rugged construction for field deployment and hybrid configurations, have been designed for harsh environment applications such as military tactical communications, avionics, offshore systems, outside broadcast, mining and plant.

The expanded beam technology uses expanded and collimated beams to couple optical fibers without any contact. It could allow for optics to be used in areas that have been quite restrictive due to presence of damage or contamination at the fiber end. Hermaphroditic connector design enables fast deployment by daisy-chaining multiple cable segments. HXB15 connectors also enable transfer of electrical signal or power using hybrid insert configuration.

The Boreas 50 fiber optic gyroscope (FOG) is a highly accurate and reliable navigation technology. It’s the result of over 25 years of development in partnership with two research institutions. The gyroscope uses a closed-loop optical coil and an advanced spread-spectrum digital modulation technique to improve accuracy, stability, and reliability while reducing size, weight, power, and cost. Gyrocompass North-Seeking The Boreas range of fiber optic gyroscopes (FOGs) can determine heading without needing a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) or a magnetometer. By sensing the Earth’s rotation, the system’s north-seeking algorithm can acquire an accurate heading. This is possible in static and dynamic conditions, even at high latitudes. Reliability Boreas 50 has been designed from the ground up for rugged reliability. Both the hardware and software are tested and certified to environmental and electromagnetic standards (MIL-STD 461 and MIL-STD 810H). EO/IR Payload System EOTS (Electro-Optical Tracking System) is an electronic optical image tracking device that identifies danger and emergency situations on the battlefield, monitors and tracks tragets, and calculates their coordinates, and is an essential equipment for drones that can be used in both military and private sectors. M1 and M2 were developed to use a common mount that connects to the drone by keeping the size of the gimbal assembly the same at 4 inches. M1 can be recognized at a maximum of 0.2km for humans during the day and at night, and M2, which operates in adverse conditions at night, can be recognized at up to 1.0km for tanks in the form of IR continuous zoom.
