TAC-450-360 Photonic Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) (Non-ITAR)
Designed to deliver the highest level of performance, the non-ITAR TAC-450-360 IMU includes our exclusive photonic integrated chip (PIC) technology. The high-performance TAC-450-360 IMU is designed for applications in which high bandwidth, low latency, and low drift are critical. The TAC-450-360 IMU is integrated with inertial-grade accelerometers and three axes of magnetometers to provide the high accuracy levels that leading autonomous and manned platforms demand.

Photonic Integrated Chip Technology
EMCORE’s photonic integrated chip (PIC) technology* reimagines FOG technology by replacing individual fiber components with an innovative integrated planar optic chip. This results in a FOG with PIC Inside™ that’s reliable and robust. With three of these integrated photonic gyros at its core, the TAC-450-360 IMU provides the safe, accurate performance autonomous platforms demand.
LUMIR
Image Data Handling Unit, IDHU
Lumir is the first Korean company to successfully develop and manufacture this onboard equipment, delivering superior performance and significant cost savings compared to competitors’ products. By integrating non-volatile NAND flash devices into the image data handling unit, storage capacity has been significantly increased, with data retention maintained even when the power is off.The image data handling unit of the satellite is a core device that receives high-speed, large-capacity data output from Earth observation sensors mounted on the satellite—such as SAR or optical cameras—then compresses and stores the data in real time, while also performing encryption and encoding for transmission to ground stations. Lumir has successfully developed and manufactured this satellite-mounted device domestically in Korea for the first time, breaking reliance on imported technologies. This achievement secures Lumir’s competitiveness by delivering superior performance and significant cost savings compared to foreign products.

Ultisense™ is Safran Vectronix’s line of high-performance OEM sensing modules, including ultra-compact Laser Rangefinders (LRF) and Digital Magnetic Compasses (DMC). Designed for seamless integration into military and civilian systems, they offer exceptional accuracy, ruggedness, and Swiss precision. LRF modules measure distances up to 30 km with ±1 m accuracy, while DMC modules provide azimuth accuracy down to 0.25°, even under extreme shock and environmental conditions.

EGR-Cooler (Automobile Industry)
This EGR-Cooler prototype, developed in collaboration with Hyundai Motor Company, was fabricated using EOS Stainless Steel 316L, renowned for its excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties in demanding automotive applications. The part was additively manufactured over a period of 64 hours, demonstrating the advanced capabilities of metal 3D printing for precision and reliability.
Unlike conventional designs, this innovative component integrates 14 separate parts into a single, unified structure, greatly simplifying assembly while enhancing operational efficiency. The implementation of a Triply Periodic Minimal Surface (TPMS) structure within the cooler significantly improves heat exchange performance and enables substantial weight reduction, meeting next-generation thermal management requirements.
