The VPX6-C6 which provides a full 6U OpenVPX(VITA65) is a Single Board Computer(SBC) that combines the power, versatility, cost-effectiveness of the 8th generation Intel mobile one-chip processor solution with the reliability. VPX6-C6 is based on the Intel i7-8665UE CPU that has quad cores running at 1.7GHz and providing a 32Gbytes of highbandwidth DDR4 SDRAM. Intel i7 processor includes an integrated Intel UHD 620 graphics engine, providing discrete GPU performance with OpenGL for graphics-intensive applications. For storage application VPX6-C6 provides the built-in 80GB SLC NVMe SSD solution via PCIe x4 lanes as well as the external SATA expansion through VPX site. This Control Actuation System (CAS) is a guidance system for unmanned flying objects. It consists of three MPS fin actuators that each independently position an aerodynamic fin. The maximum angle of incidence is ±8°, which allows the device to carry out highly precise dynamic manoeuvres. The miniature fin actuators that make up this Control Actuation System are manufactured by MPS Microsystems and were designed based on customer specifications. Designed to guide a very small object and disposing of an extremely limited space, these fin actuators meet strict requirements in terms of performance, weight - less than 100 g - and dimensions. To reduce the length of this actuator, MPS Microsystems used part of the screw length as the motor axis. This screw is equipped with a very compact 4-point contact bearing that simultaneously absorbs axial and radial loads. The angular play on the aileron axis is less than 0.1° rms. This actuator meets the storage and vibration requirements of military equipment.

The first step toward armed helicopters The Bomb Rack Unit (BRU) is a device installed on a helicopter’s Stub-wing to mount various armaments such as rocket launchers and air-to-ground missiles, and it consists of a Pylon Unit and a Bomb Rack Unit. CTLA’s Bomb Rack Unit is equipped with a Boresight function that allows vertical (up/down) and horizontal (left/right) angle adjustments, and a solenoid-actuated free-fall weapon release (Jettison) method is applied. CTLA’s Bomb Rack Unit has passed the system tests for the Light Armed Helicopter (LAH) and received suitability certification, and it is currently in mass production.

Temperature Calibrated Pressure Sensors The Air Data Unit features very high accuracy absolute and differential pressure sensors. These are factory calibrated over a wide temperature range to further increase measurement accuracy and provide the best air data possible through varying conditions. Power Up Self-Calibration On top of factory temperature calibration, every time the air data unit powers up, it performs a self excitation calibration to adjust for small deviations of bias and scaling error. This allows the system to compensate for calibration aging and means that it never needs to be returned to the factory for recalibration. Reliability The Air Data Unit is built on top of a safety oriented real time operating system and all software is designed and tested to safety standards with fault tolerance. Its communication interface is optically isolated and the hardware is designed and tested to MIL spec.
