Contribute the Enhancement of Armed Forces with Continuous Technology Development Designed for replacing the Republic of Korea Army(RoKA)’s aged attack helicopter (500MD, AH-1S), the LAH(Light Armed Helicopter) Project is the one that aims to develop a cutting-edge armed helicopter suitable for the modern battlefield. Through the synergy of maximizing commonality in subsystems and parts with LCH(Light Civil Helicopter), KAI will reduce the development, production, and sustainment cost ultimately to be a bridgehead for a global helicopter market. The first flight of LAH was successfully conducted in 2019. KAI aims to complete the development of LAH in 2023.

The 100W High Power Amplifier is an L-band amplifier that delivers 100W output across two channels with a 60% duty cycle. It offers a gain of over 50 dB, with output flatness of 2 dB depending on the input signal level. The amplifier provides an ACLR performance of -20 dBc at maximum output. Equipped with an output-stage bandpass filter (BPF), it achieves excellent harmonic suppression of -70 dBc. Built-in monitoring functions include output signal and temperature monitoring.

The DRU-H-R has growth capacity to add an embedded Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module (SAASM) GPS with M-code capability. It can also be configured to function in unmanned, rotational and shipboard environments. The DRU-H-R is an advanced precision navigation system that provides accurate vehicle position and attitude data. This unit replaced the DRU-H on Paladin and Firefinder, both playing critical roles in supporting U.S. ground forces in all phases of active combat operations. The EMCORE DRU-H-R design upgraded system performance by using high accuracy, combat-proven inertial sensors currently fielded on the Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS), High-Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS), and Improved Position and Azimuth Determining System (IPADS).
