REDCOM Sigma was selected by the U.S. Army’s Program Executive Office Command, Control Communications-Tactical for network modernization at the tactical edge. The MIL-DTL-5015 series of connectors were developed as military standard connectors and applied to various military equipment, it is also used in general industries, medical care, electric vehicles, robots and automation facilities based on its high durability and reliability. This series is threaded coupling and the connection between the contact and the wire is based on soldering. It can be used compatibly with third-party products of the same standard since it is produced according to military standards.

The SCXMC-HDLC card operates through the XMC interface of the SBC and provides real-time communication for control and status data based on synchronization signals. It supports serial communication via the SBCRTM’s Micro D-sub 37-pin connector using a standard D-sub 9-pin interface, allowing long-distance transmission through LVDS signaling. With four transmit/receive channels, it achieves 1–8 Mbps per channel and delivers low-latency performance of less than 40 µs for real-time operations. A device driver program is required for operation, and the Linux driver can be downloaded from Seedcore’s product page. Drivers for other operating systems can be developed upon request. This module is deployed in the L-SAM multi-function radar system, enabling fast and reliable control data communication across mission-critical components.

The MD70MH-DroneCAN is an 11.6mm, metal gear, 13-gram micro servo for higher voltage applications. Featuring a single output ball bearing, cored brush motor, and magnetic rotary encoder, the MD70MH-DroneCAN is often used in compact fixed wing UAV and drone applications where space and weight are mission critical concerns. It is an UAV recovery system that lands a fixed-wing UAV even in mountainous terrain where there is no sufficient runway for landing. Similar to the arresting hook method used to land an aircraft on an aircraft carrier, the UAV is caught by a pendant and braked, and a net is also added in case of an emergency.
