The family of PBS TJ40 turbojet engines features a compact design and excellent thrust-to-weight ratio. The engines are available in several versions incl. the PBS TJ40-G2 with high electric power output. Versa has been designed for compatibility with the SpaceX four-point interfaces, and it is easily scalable to any size from 24”x24” up to 40”x40”. Featuring an ultra-compact package of less than 5 cubic inches, the TAC-440 delivers 1°/hour gyro bias with 1 mg accelerometer bias stability and very low 0.05°/√hour angle random walk (ARW) over wide temperature ranges. The breakthrough performance of the TAC-440 IMU is based on a EMCORE’s proven quartz MEMS inertial sensor technology. EMCORE’s quartz technology enables repeatable, high-volume production of precisely machined sensor structures combined with the inherent large signal output and thermal stability of quartz materials. The TAC-440 is a compact IMU constructed with EMCORE’s latest generation quartz gyros, quartz accelerometers, and high-speed signal processing to achieve outstanding precision performance. The TAC-440 IMU is designed for demanding, mission-critical, rugged environments. The solid-state quartz sensors and hermetically sealed IMU construction provide reliable MTBF. Continuous Built-in Test (BIT), configurable communications protocols, electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection make the TAC-440 IMU easy to use in a wide range of higher order integrated system applications.

The Fibre Channel D-sub connector series features a multi-finger ground spring fixed around the shell provides a multi-point contact engagement that affords superior EMI shielding. The end result is extremely low contact resistance when measured from the contact outer body to the connector flange. The Fibre Channel D-Sub series also delivers superior performance ensuring minimal RF noise and high durability up to 1,000 mating cycles, while meeting and surpassing all requirements of MIL-STD-202 for shock and vibration. Offered with 150 Ohm quadrax contacts, the connectors are available with 2, 4, 6 or 8 way insert arrangements. Additionally, D-Sub connectors feature ease of assembly, and a robust and comprehensive training package. To ensure that the correct high speed connectors are mated to address specific wiring requirements and keying functions, a keyed jack post option has been incorporated into the design. The six-positioned post allows for 36 possible keying combinations assuring that the correct Fibre Channel D-Sub plug is mated to the correct high speed receptacle. Non-keyed jack post versions are available as well. Fibre Channel D-Sub connectors feature size 3 quadrax contacts which are 30% larger than the size 9 configuration utilized in the 100 Ohm quadrax, ensuring a matched impedance signal throughout the contact mated pair at 150 Ohm differential impedance. Designed on MPS Microsystems’ modular optomechanics platform, the High-Speed Coaxial Lens Actuator delivers custom-engineered, micron-level alignment in a footprint of just 170 × 87 × 45 mm. Two brushless motors drive lens holders (Ø 12.7 mm) that move in the same precision-machined bore, guaranteeing perfect coaxiality throughout the 3.75 mm stroke and no shimming or iterative alignment required. The closed-loop cam mechanism runs friction-free, ensuring a maintenance-free stage that can be used in laser machining heads, spectrometers or 3-D scanners and keeps working for millions of cycles.
