Electromagnetic activities have become critical in the modern battlespace. In this increasingly contested and congested environment, situational awareness is key in tactical operations. How do you meet such a challenge without compromising the need to remain undetected and to deploy with speed and agility? The solution is passive sensing, sensors that are totally silent and don’t emit signals; but can detect electromagnetic emissions. Passive sensors are nothing new. But, a compact, man-portable system with the ability to support tactical operations at every level, is something new. We call it Sirius Compact, a sensor that can make being silent a very powerful activity.

The CAS-500(Compact Advanced Satellite), phase #1 project is the project in which KAI aims to develop a CAS500-1 by operating a joint design team with Korea Aerospace Research Institute(KARI) and to transfer the government’s satellite development technology to the industries. Then, KAI initiates the development of the CAS500-2 project and establish the industry-led development as well as mass-production infrastructure.

The static-dynamic mixer vipro-DUOMIX is perfectly suited for compressible, two-component materials – with very different viscosities, extreme mixing ratios and high-pressure sensitivity. The extended version with optimized mixing blocks for low-viscosity, and high-viscosity materials on either side brings a further advantage: It is ideally suited for materials that are difficult to mix – with different or identical viscosities. A modular design with five different dispenser sizes per side allows complete flexibility. And a wide range of mixing ratios from 1:1 to 100:1. The vipro-DUOMIX can be used for complex two-component applications in diverse industries such as automotive manufacturing, aerospace, or electronics. Irrelevant of whether it is for a dot dispensing, a bead application or for a potting application. Particularly in the production of aircrafts the static-dynamic mixer is used for honeycomb potting or for edge sealing. Special nozzles with adjustable bead width are available for this purpose. A wide range of two-component materials based on e.g., polyether, epoxy resin, silicone or polyurethane can be dispensed in all areas of application. Due to the parallel alignment of the dispensers, and due to a weight-optimized design, the vipro-DUOMIX is very compact – ideal for assembly in robotic cells or for automated applications.

This cable assembly is applied to various precision and high-function facilities and equipment such as armored vehicles, warships/ship, medical equipment, and communication equipment to perform power connection and electronic signal connection functions. Military cable assemblies are vital for the defense and aerospace industries. Cable assemblies must be built with high-performing materials and components that withstand harsh conditions, such as vibrations, high temperatures, and chemical exposure.

From the rocket launcher to its upper assembly, the bomb rack unit, completing a full weapon system as one set. The rocket launcher is a weapon system independently designed to launch guided missiles or rockets through 7-tube and 19-tube launchers, enabling both single and multiple firings. Through its development, independence of the weapon system has been secured, and structural stability has been achieved by applying a design that considers aircraft vibration and aerodynamic effects. In addition, it is equipped with the capability to receive the system’s firing signal and ignite the rocket. Based on the successful development in 2017 of the 7-tube 2.75-inch rocket launcher assembly for helicopters, the company is now independently developing upgraded versions of the 7-tube and 19-tube rocket launcher assemblies. Through this effort, we are securing scalability for application to next-generation helicopters and UAV systems.

Fast connection and disconnection are possible, and it provides a stable connection against vibration or shock. It is IP67-grade waterproof and can be used in humid or dusty environments. It also provides the ability to shield electromagnetic interference (EMI). Key uses: Military communications equipment, orbital vehicles and rail vehicles, aerospace industry, electric vehicles and unmanned systems, industrial equipment.
