THETIS-M2 is a multifunction thermal imaging system that provides soldiers with an advanced, light weight solution for day and night reconnaissance, surveillance and forward observation purposes. It consists of five main sub modules, Direct View Optic, Thermal Camera, Laser Range Finder, Digital Magnetic Compass and GPS. It also gives the blue forces real-time target acquisition and target coordinate calculation capabilities.

FOBEX-P is a single-type beam expansion connector that can upgrade a contact optical connector to a non-contact optical connector. FOBEX-P is optimized for applications with frequent mating or high vibration. It has much less damage or wear than contact connectors, has stable signal quality, and is robust even in harsh environments. The lens applied to FOBEX-P expands the size of the beam of the original optical signal, transforms it into a parallel light form, makes optical alignment easy, reduces sensitivity to external contamination, and provides consistent performance despite external thermal changes. Cleaning is also easy. FOBEX-P was designed to be compatible with the existing contact type M29504/4-05 size, and can be used by replacing contact pins and sockets with FOBEX-P.
