The Integrated Weather Observation System (IWOS®) is the compact, wireless, rugged weather station that can be customized to any customers’ specific needs. This system can replace legacy weather stations that require hardline power or extensive infrastructure for permanent installation. It integrates up to eight environmental sensing modules with optional satellite communication in a package that fits into a single case and weighs less than 25 lb. In addition to its portability, performance, and professional-grade construction, the modular design of the IWOS lends itself to higher accuracy, higher availability, and a lower lifecycle cost thanks to its easily replaceable and serviceable modules.

The operation of robotic inspection systems in an industrial environment requires a reliable control station. The second generation integrated control station -ICS 2- gives operators an all-in-one tool. Supplied in a rugged hardshell case (Pelicase®), embedded components such as a 21.5-inch touchscreen, high-performance PC or joystick can be selected according to industry standards. It also boasts a 10-year spare parts guarantee as well as extreme robustness and reliability even in harsh environments. Simplicity and ease of operation were key when developing ICS 2. The operator connects the robotic platform with one single cable and using the integrated joystick, operation is simple and self-explanatory.

Lumir is the first Korean company to successfully develop and manufacture this onboard equipment, delivering superior performance and significant cost savings compared to competitors’ products. By integrating non-volatile NAND flash devices into the image data handling unit, storage capacity has been significantly increased, with data retention maintained even when the power is off.The image data handling unit of the satellite is a core device that receives high-speed, large-capacity data output from Earth observation sensors mounted on the satellite—such as SAR or optical cameras—then compresses and stores the data in real time, while also performing encryption and encoding for transmission to ground stations. Lumir has successfully developed and manufactured this satellite-mounted device domestically in Korea for the first time, breaking reliance on imported technologies. This achievement secures Lumir’s competitiveness by delivering superior performance and significant cost savings compared to foreign products.
