The X-band LNB is a satellite ground transport terminal that includes a transmission rejection filter and performs downconversion of X-band signals to IF using an internal reference frequency. It features dustproof, moisture-proof, and waterproof protection, along with self-diagnostic functions such as a lock alarm. The unit provides a total gain of over 60 dB and supports a wide bandwidth of 500 MHz. Its frequency stability is maintained within 0.31 ppm.

Toxic gases, such as Silane (SiH4), Nitrogen Trifluoride (NF3), Sulphur Hexafluoride (SF6), Ammonia (NH3), Nitrous Oxide (N2O), etc. must be contained in IMDG certified MEGC tubes for ocean transportation. For high purity gases such as SiH₄, and NF₃, DS Aether CT provides internal-polished tubes to a grade of 3S, 25S, etc. depending on customer's requirements. DS Aether CT’s tubes keep moisture levels below 1 ppm or 3 ppm by a heated vacuuming process so that gas quality can be maintained at high purity level.

They are deployed to resist moisture ingress in underground applications and to withstand pressure differentials in vacuum chambers, laboratory equipment and commercial and military aircraft. Hermetic seal connectors, such as the MIL-DTL-38999 Series I, II, III and IV supplied by Glenair, are principally designed for use in military aerospace — in fact, the sealing requirement for connector hermeticity was originally driven by military electronic applications. But the products are equally at home in commercial applications such as oil-patch, logging equipment or medical devices.
