Active phased array fire control radar (AESA) for aircraft
A fire control multi-function radar (MFR) that can simultaneously detect, identify, and track multiple targets, including in the air and on the ground, and has SAR and NCTR functions.
Aircraft (fighter)-mounted AESA radar is a core sensor for fighter jets to perform day/night/all-weather multiple missions. It operates in multiple modes such as air-to-air/air-to-ground/air-to-sea/support mode, and acquires ground images and air/ground in electronic warfare situations. It is essential mission equipment for fighter jets that detects/tracks multiple targets and supports guided missile guidance and gun shooting.
Korea Aerospace Industries
KF-21
The KF-21 is the project which aims to replae the aged fighters in operation, F-4, and F-5 of the Republic of Korea Air Force and develop the indigenous Korean fighter aircraft which is equipped with performances suitable for the future battlefield of the country's air force. Korea's largest-scaled KF-21 project is the national R&D project with a development span of 10 years and 6 months and is driven with Indonesia under international joint development. Based on its development experience and infrastructure of a homegrown airplane, such as the KT-1 basic trainer, T-50 Advanced Jet Trainer, TA-50 Lead-in-Fighter-Trainer, and FA-50 Light Combat Aircraft, KAI is under development of the KF-21 project successfully.
Through this project, KAI plans to develop the aerospace technology of Korea and contribute to national peace and security as well as economic development.
ElectroAir
APA-65
ElectroAir’s mobile APA-65 -series combined units consist of frequency converter units (AC rated output power up to 45 kVA) and rectifier units (DC continuous current up to 800A). These units are intended for the ground servicing of all aircraft types with a frequency of 400Hz and voltage 115/200 V and to power on-board electrical equipment and launch aircraft/ helicopters with a voltage of 28.5 VDC.
APA-65 series is designed to eliminate CO2 emissions with its unique technical characteristics.
Diesel hybrid unit and battery driven unit - unit can perform the complete service of aircraft at remote parking places with diesel engine / through batteries and it is also capable to operate from the 50/60Hz, 400V, 3 phase main power supply grid as any electrical GPU, without fuel consumption and with zero operating emissions.
The range of different APA configurations with no emissions allow for safer, cleaner and more practical operational conditions for operators and personnel at the location.
These units are very compact in size and weight.

HAP-alpha
Between Earth and space: stratosphere-compatible, solar-powered high-altitude aircraft, known as HAPs (High Altitude Platforms), offer a sustainable alternative to satellites for Earth observation and communication. They are reusable, cost-effective and flexible in use. The DLR joint project HAP-alpha is developing such a technology demonstrator and is endeavoring to establish a complete system capable of permanent operation. The aim is for DLR to build up comprehensive expertise for the development of high-performance, high-flying solar aircraft and to play an active role in shaping the legal framework. In summer 2025, the HAP-alpha successfully passed a ground vibration test.
