We developed and optimized an object detection and tracking solution tailored for edge environments using Intel Atom platforms with OpenVINO. The system combines MobileNetV3-SSDLite for detection and MobileNetV3-Small for tracking, enabling efficient real-time performance on resource-constrained devices. Through model optimization and inference acceleration, we achieved over 2x improvement in FPS and more than 50% enhancement in inference speed, all while maintaining detection and tracking accuracy. This demonstrates the solution’s suitability for lightweight, low-power edge AI applications

MPS Microsystems offers a complete range of high precision ball screws for positioning less than 5 µm. The Sentry Mesh 6161 is a Software Defined Radio hosting our highly robust MANET waveforms that have been proven in applications from Public Safety to Unmanned Systems and Covert Operations. The MeshUltraTM waveform optimises the use of available channel bandwidth through a token passing technology, which avoids collisions and provides a bound, predictable data packet latency. Wider bandwidth, together with superior RF performance and optional Interference Avoidance System (IAS), maximises communications effectiveness in the presence of interference. The standardised design of the 6161 ensures that it can be integrated with a large range of accessory devices such as audio, data, power solutions, and antennas to address current and future program needs.

This very compact optical system with an original design allows two groups of lenses to be moved in perfect coaxiality (+/- 1µm) over several millimeters. It is particularly recommended for applications requiring a constant alignment precision when moving the lenses. The perfect coaxiality of the lens holders is guaranteed by a common bore machined in a single operation. Numerous dimensional modifications allow a perfect adaptation to the optical design related to its application. Due to the use of perfectly adjusted ball cages, its low-friction translation mechanism is best suited for intense use and offers an unequalled lifetime without any particular maintenance.
