r-TWR are digital towers which enable the remote use of air traffic services (ATS) from any location. Being at an airport, air base or at a centralised location, distance is no longer a factor. The r-TWR functions can be integrated to a traditional tower as a hybrid solution, and can support the ramp and apron management using the same information. It can also be deployed and put in place when needed. Through the use of digital camera technology and sensors, operators can effectively conduct and manage various services remotely, based on visual surveillance. This removes the need to be on-site and occupying critical space at an airport, in favour of a chosen location.

The SCVPX-SSGM (Synchronous Signal Generation Module) generates synchronization signals to coordinate the operation and timing of various radar system components. It can generate synchronization signals using an internal clock, receive an external clock, or regenerate synchronization signals from external sources to maintain precise timing cycles. A device driver program is required for configuration and operation, and the Linux driver can be downloaded from Seedcore’s product page. Drivers for other operating systems can be developed upon request. Access to multiple constellations and frequencies provides enhanced accuracy, availability and performance even in difficult environments such as multi-storey urban canyons. The GNSS receiver has 10 mm position accuracy with real-time RTK or post-processed PPK. Dual Antenna Heading The Certus Mini D provides a high accuracy heading solution using two GNSS antennas. The Certus Mini D rapidly and consistently maintains an accurate heading without the need for magnetic calibration and is unaffected by magnetic interference. Additionally, the system can determine heading while stationary. This makes it well-suited to applications where there is limited, or no, positional movement.
