The beginning of the mission given to ammunition The mission of all ammunition begins with the fuse. We are developing and mass-producing fuses based on our many years of experience in developing and mass-producing various fuses to meet the needs of users, including electronic timed fuses, mechanical fuses, and training fuses. Completion of mission given to ammunition Warheads such as penetrating warheads for penetrating power, thermobaric warheads using thermal pressure, and dispersion warheads for suppressing local targets play the role of completing the final mission of the ammunition. Korea Defense Industry has many years of experience developing and mass producing such warheads.

Trade Promotion

The NIDV supports its members in both the national and international markets in as many ways as possible. From participation in international projects, international trade fair visits to programs with government support. You can find more information about these initiatives below. International projects The NIDV organizes various opportunities for its participants to improve their international opportunities. The NIDV facilitates international trade fair participation, matchmaking events with international Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and meetings about international opportunities. Trade fairs and trade missions Participation in trade fairs takes place in close consultation and collaboration with a number of departments. The Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defense and Economic Affairs are involved in the activities. For the government part, the RVO is involved in the creation of the Dutch pavilion and hospitality lounge with the help of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. In addition to trade fairs and trade missions, the NIDV actively participates in various international projects. Partners for International Business (PIB) Partners for International Business (PIB) is a program that allows Dutch companies to realize their international ambitions in a public-private partnership. Doing business abroad is not always easy. You may encounter trade barriers, insufficient knowledge among local governments and companies, or adverse local legislation. Collaborating with other companies in the sector and the Dutch government can ensure that you are in a stronger position. Alliance II The NIDV will participate in EU-ALLIANCE II from 2021 to 2023, this European project aims to support SMEs on the international market in the field of technical textiles, connectivity and advanced materials on “dual use” markets in four target countries , namely: United States, Canada, Japan and Indonesia.

155mm Artillery Ammunition

Our 155mm Artillery Shell

L15 High Explosive (HE)

Designed for use with a range of 155mm guns, this shell combines advanced technology with logistic simplicity, giving the user higher performance, in a cost effective manner. It comprises of a high tensile, steel body and is fitted with a user-selected fuze, for greater operational flexibility. The shell body features a thin wall, which is optimised for high fragmentation and blast effect.

XL12E1 High Explosive (HE) Extended Range (ER)

Based on a mature design, with a shell body adapted from the L15 High Explosive (HE) shell. A screw-on base bleed unit can be used to optimise range extension whilst maximising lethality.

L21 High Explosive (HE)

This shell is ballistically matched to the M107, as used by the US military. It is fitted with a removable nose plug, providing the user with greater operational flexibility, through choice of fuze.

L17 Inert

For use in gun proving, gun warming and handling practice, this shell is ballistically matched to the L15 High Explosive (HE) shell. It is fitted with a Plug Representing Fuze (PRF) and the steel body contains inert filling.

Our 155mm Propelling Charges

Our 155mm ammunition is supported by a range of propelling charges, which are designed for use in a wide range of 155mm ammunition systems.

L8 Propelling Charge

This consists of a cloth bag containing charge increments three to seven, with increments four to seven being removable. Ignition is by base igniter pad, contained in charge increment three and a breech-loaded percussion primer. A flash reduction agent is included in increment five and a de-coppering agent is included in increments five, six and seven.

L10 Propelling Charge

This consists of a combustible case, containing a single bundle of propellant and an igniter and disc assembly. A de-coppering agent is included in the charge.

L18 Propelling Charge

Used for training, this charge system consists of five increment charges of unequal size, to provide coverage for all zone firings. A flash reduction agent is included in the propellant composition and a de-coppering agent is included in increment four. The propellant is contained in cloth bags and the complete charge is secured together by cloth tying straps, attached to the base charge.

The unique system is designed for detection, localization, tracking and identification of the air, ground and naval targets as well as exceptional pulse and continuous wave signal analysis. VERA-NG supports cross-border, long-term and long-range surveillance without alerting neighbouring nations. The system emits zero electromagnetic energy making it ‘invisible‘, i. e. it sees without being seen. It also provides strategic ELINT (Electronic Intelligence) information to collect, process and evaluate the ESM data for reference database. VERA-NG = 6 decades of pioneering in the field of passive radiolocation adapted to face modern threats.

Camera link Fiber Optic Extender, FOR-10T/R, Base Configuration

The FOR-10T/R supports Base configurations (including 10 Taps) and enables long-distance transmission of image signals via optical fiber, along with RS232 control signals and CC1~4 trigger signals. These signals are transmitted to the PC. This product supports transmission distances of up to 2 km, and by replacing the optical module, even longer distances can be achieved.  Fully supports the Camera Link interface (Area/Line Scan).  Supports Base (including 10 Taps) configurations (CC1~4, RS232, 10 Ports (Taps), LVAL, DVAL, FVAL).  Supports pixel frequency from 20 to 85 MHz.  Maximum transmission distance: 2000 m.  Enables lossless transmission.  Supports all external full-duplex RS232 communication speeds on a single port.  Features a locking DC power jack (Molex).  Camera link Connector Type : SDR connector.
