The fully redundant DA 30-HT-D has been developed for applications with the highest reliability demands. The redundant – two channel – design of the actuator allows continuous operation even if one of the two channels has failed. All major components such as the electric motors, control and communication electronics, and power supply are available twice (redundant). The position sensor features a three channel design (for 2 out of 3 voting). Additionally, there are several sensors integrated to provide diagnostic information such as current consumption, supply voltage levels and temperature readings. All major components of the actuator are continuously diagnosed by the microcontrollers of the actuator and its health status can be read via the redundant RS485.

Continuous Built-in Test (BIT), configurable communications protocols, electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection and flexible input power compatibility make the SDI170 IMU easy to use in a wide range of higher-order integrated commercial and defense system applications.

Continental connectors are manufactured with highest quality materials. Our contacts are machined to close tolerances as opposed to stamped and formed styles. All molding compounds are glass reinforced, flame retardant and able to withstand severe environmental and mechanical requirements. Military connector families conform to the highest Defense Supply center (DSCC) standards, which require qualification testing and continued periodic requalification under the surveillance of government representatives to maintain our Company Qualified Product Listing (QPL)

The HXB11 Connectors, featuring expanded beam technology, hermaphroditic connection, rugged construction for field deployment have been designed for harsh environment applications such as military tactical communications, avionics, offshore systems, outside broadcast, mining and plant.

The expanded beam technology uses expanded and collimated beams to couple optical fibers without any contact. It could allow for optics to be used in areas that have been quite restrictive due to presence of damage or contamination at the fiber end. Hermaphroditic connector design enables fast deployment by daisy-chaining multiple cable segments.
