NEAR NET SHAPE APPROACH
The focus on buy-to-fly ratios highlights the contributing role that near net shape processing can offer. This has undoubtedly been a driver in increasing this service offering from AMA. As a major contributor in the aircraft manufacturing supply chain, this is a key area of development for AMA and its companies.
Customers are increasingly looking to optimise their production processes. This is primarily driven by the need to maximise their own spindle time for core business activities, with AMA therefore undertaking some of the machining processes. It can take many forms, from simple cutting to more intricate processing in which near net shape pieces are supplied.
Even in AMA businesses whose business is predominantly transactional (so called ‘spot business’) rather than contractual, the processing element is increasing. Pre-machined kits of parts to individual specifications are becoming more commonplace.
In addition to freeing up time for customers and OEMs to focus on more profitable final processing, near net shape processes can improve product quality, reduce variability and enhance component design functionality.
As the industry continues to search for ways to lower buy-to-fly ratios and reduce the amount of waste, near net shape processing will have a greater role to play.

Coa XPress Repeater, CXR-4C , 4CH x 12.5Gbps (Max. 50Gbps) , World’s Smallest Size
CoaXPress enables bidirectional transmission of data transfer, camera control, power supply (PoCXP), and triggering over a single coaxial cable.
This product supports the following transmission standards.
Designation Bit Rate
========== ========
CXP-1 1.250 Gbps
CXP-2 2.500 Gbps
CXP-3 3.125 Gbps
CXP-5 5.000 Gbps
CXP-6 6.250 Gbps
CXP-12 12.500 Gbps
The CXR-4C amplifies and transmits image signals from 1/2/4-channel CoaXPress cameras to a PC frame grabber. Typically, transmission matches the distance between the camera and the device. Transmission distance depends on the coaxial cable type, and due to significant variability, specific distances are not provided.

L-ORAS
L-ORAS (Low-Altitude Flight Operations Risk Assessment System) is the world’s first fully integrated software platform redefining flight safety for low-altitude UAVs. Designed for commercial operators, regulators, and defense users, it leverages advanced automation to simplify evaluations and deliver unmatched speed and reliability.
Traditional UAV risk assessments are slow, fragmented, overly reliant on limited expertise, causing delays, administrative burdens, and safety blind spots. Competing tools fail to unify international standards or provide end-to-end compliance, leaving approval gaps.
L-ORAS introduces breakthrough innovation by seamlessly incorporating both SORA (Specific Operations Risk Assessment) by EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) and SRM (Safety Risk Management) by FAA (Federal Aviation Administration). The platform automates risk classification, generates comprehensive assessment portfolios, and consolidates operational data—enabling high-confidence approvals, insurance optimization, and safety oversight.
Looking ahead, L-ORAS will emerge as a global standard-bearer, driving UAV innovation and becoming the leader in safe, scalable, trusted unmanned flight operations.
X-BEAM TECH
HXB15
Large size - Shell size 15
The HXB15 Connectors, featuring expanded beam technology, hermaphroditic connection, rugged construction for field deployment and hybrid configurations, have been designed for harsh environment applications such as military tactical communications, avionics, offshore systems, outside broadcast, mining and plant.
The expanded beam technology uses expanded and collimated beams to couple optical fibers without any contact. It could allow for optics to be used in areas that have been quite restrictive due to presence of damage or contamination at the fiber end. Hermaphroditic connector design enables fast deployment by daisy-chaining multiple cable segments. HXB15 connectors also enable transfer of electrical signal or power using hybrid insert configuration.
FEATURES
·Advanced expanded beam technology
· Rugged field deployable fiber optic connector
· Hermaphroditic interconnection
· 2 to 10 Optical Channels for Singlemode or Multimode
· Optical / electrical hybrid variants
· Custom configurations available
· Environmental sealing (IPX8)
· Very high resistance to vibration, shock, environmental effects, dust, and debris
