The AWBS is an electro optical boresight tool, used for accurately aligning guns to the sighting system. The AWBS utilizes a video camera to allow a single user to align a weapon to a sight from the safety of the gunner's post. The AWBS provides an easy to use, accurate, fast and reliable tool for boresighting, yielding a high first round hit probability. The ease of use of the AWBS minimizes the time required to perform boresighting and maximizes the convenience and the frequency of the procedure. It's rugged design retains the accuracy of the AWBS over a wide range of environmental conditions. The UHF-band TRX module features transmit diversity, allowing selection between two transmit ports and providing an output power of at least 1 W. It includes a gain control function for transmission and an internal local oscillator for IF-to-UHF upconversion. Transmit functions also include ALC (Automatic Level Control) and over-temperature protection. On the receive side, the module selects one of two input channels and performs downconversion. It supports AGC (Automatic Gain Control) with a response time of 80 µs, enabling real-time gain adjustment based on input signal level. The dynamic range of the receive input spans from -100 dBm to -20 dBm, and the noise figure is 5.0 dB or less. Both transmit and receive paths include built-in path self-test functions.

It can carry and deliver payloads of 5 to 10 kilograms, making it suitable for commercial and industrial logistics.
