Introducing the FoldIR 30-450mm f/3.4 continuous zoom lens with Ophir's innovative folded optical design, offering lightweight, compact design while maintaining long optical lengths and improved tolerance sensitivity. This design ensures exceptional performance even in challenging environments, addressing stabilization and athermalization issues. Its unique f/3.4 aperture guarantees superior image quality, surpassing larger aperture zoom lenses in diffraction limit MTF and IR signal collection. The lens features a built-in mechanical shutter for NUC control, enhancing image quality through Ophir's control system. Gear Box
A gearbox
refers to a mechanical device made up of various gears to transmit the power needed to rotate a shaft.
Depending on the type of speed transmission, it is divided into a reduction gearbox and an increaser gearbox. If the speed of the driven shaft is lower than that of the drive shaft, it is called a reduction gearbox, and if it is higher, it is called an increaser gearbox. A reduction gearbox is mainly used to obtain high torque by reducing the rotation speed of the drive source (motor) to the required rotation speed, and an increase gearbox is used to obtain high-speed rotation by increasing the limited rotation speed of the drive source (motor). It is used for this purpose.
Depending on the type of gear (helical gear, bevel gear, planetary gear, worm gear, etc.), it can be manufactured in various shapes.
