The SC-SBCRTM-V2 is a Rear Transition Module (RTM) designed to extend the I/O functionality of the SBC6511 single-board computer. Mounted on the rear side of the main VPX backplane, this module provides additional I/O expansion through Micro-D and D-sub connectors for synchronization signals, two Ethernet ports, two Mini-DisplayPort video outputs, two USB interfaces, and MMCX connectors. Side shells, wing shells and fuselage structures are made of CFK, GFK, aluminium or organic sheets and get connected during production. Sealants are used to seal the connection surfaces. These are usually two-component polysulphides, which have to be applied in different geometries. Typical applications are: Fillet sealings, oversealings, interface sealings and seal caps. Due to their properties, polysulfides require very low pressure and shear handling. The compressibility of the fillers contained in the medium requires a high level of expertise and a coherent overall system from material removal to application. With manual application, long production times and high material ejection have a negative influence on the complete process. Complex quality standards are required due to the risk of human error. With the in-house developments of the vipro-DUOMIX from ViscoTec, this process can be depicted fully automatically. The individual nozzle design is also adapted to each application. The result is a controlled dosage in compliance with the specifications and at the same time the highest repeat accuracy.

The UHF-band TRX module features transmit diversity, allowing selection between two transmit ports and providing an output power of at least 1 W. It includes a gain control function for transmission and an internal local oscillator for IF-to-UHF upconversion. Transmit functions also include ALC (Automatic Level Control) and over-temperature protection. On the receive side, the module selects one of two input channels and performs downconversion. It supports AGC (Automatic Gain Control) with a response time of 80 µs, enabling real-time gain adjustment based on input signal level. The dynamic range of the receive input spans from -100 dBm to -20 dBm, and the noise figure is 5.0 dB or less. Both transmit and receive paths include built-in path self-test functions.
