The HARD-20 Life Raft System is designed to provide maximum protection of the on-board life raft. The system is attached to the aircraft with a bulkhead mount and single-point release harness, enabling deployment by one person. Activation of the system is accomplished via static line mounted to the airframe or manually by a survivor in the water.

The Wraparound™ has been qualified for use on several high performance vehicles flown on test and launch ranges throughout the United States and Europe. For high aero-heating applications an ablative heat shield may be added to the antenna for additional thermal protection.
