SDI170 Tactical Grade Inertial Measurement Unit (Non-ITAR)
The SDI170 IMU is designed for demanding, mission-critical, rugged environments and ideal for continuous use applications with no wear-out components, highly linear accelerometer performance and longer life compared to competing alternatives. It is constructed with EMCORE’s latest generation quartz gyros, quartz accelerometers, and high-speed signal processing to achieve outstanding precision performance. The solid-state quartz sensors and hermetically sealed IMU construction provide reliable MTBF and a 20-year operating and storage life. Continuous Built-in Test (BIT), configurable communications protocols, electromagnetic interference (EMI) protection and flexible input power compatibility make the SDI170 IMU easy to use in a wide range of higher-order integrated commercial and defense system applications.

HAP-alpha
Between Earth and space: stratosphere-compatible, solar-powered high-altitude aircraft, known as HAPs (High Altitude Platforms), offer a sustainable alternative to satellites for Earth observation and communication. They are reusable, cost-effective and flexible in use. The DLR joint project HAP-alpha is developing such a technology demonstrator and is endeavoring to establish a complete system capable of permanent operation. The aim is for DLR to build up comprehensive expertise for the development of high-performance, high-flying solar aircraft and to play an active role in shaping the legal framework. In summer 2025, the HAP-alpha successfully passed a ground vibration test.

The AB-M1300 is a 1.3 ton-class eVTOL AAM. With a wingspan of 10 meters, the AB- M1300 is a crewed–uncrewed hybrid aircraft aiming for commercialization in 2028. Falling under the Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) certification category, it can carry up to two occupants, reach a maximum speed of 400 km/h, operate for two hour of flight time, has a maximum take-off weight (MTOW) of 1.3 tons, and a payload capacity of 250 kg. The AB-M1300 is designed for a variety of missions, including mid-mile logistics, personal leisure use, and pilot training.

The SC-HPCRTM is a Rear Transition Module (RTM) designed to extend the I/O functionality of the HPC2812 high-performance computing board. It can be mounted on the rear side of the VPX backplane to enhance system connectivity and I/O flexibility. Since the HPC2812 board consists of two computing nodes, the SC-HPCRTM provides dedicated interfaces for each node, including Ethernet, USB, MMCX, and Mini-HDMI ports, ensuring optimal data communication and display output performance in mission-critical embedded systems.
