The KF-21 is the project which aims to replae the aged fighters in operation, F-4, and F-5 of the Republic of Korea Air Force and develop the indigenous Korean fighter aircraft which is equipped with performances suitable for the future battlefield of the country's air force. Korea's largest-scaled KF-21 project is the national R&D project with a development span of 10 years and 6 months and is driven with Indonesia under international joint development. Based on its development experience and infrastructure of a homegrown airplane, such as the KT-1 basic trainer, T-50 Advanced Jet Trainer, TA-50 Lead-in-Fighter-Trainer, and FA-50 Light Combat Aircraft, KAI is under development of the KF-21 project successfully. Through this project, KAI plans to develop the aerospace technology of Korea and contribute to national peace and security as well as economic development.

The Transmit/Receive Module splits 2 transmit input channels into 32 output channels. Each channel delivers an output power of at least 3.2 W with a transmit efficiency of 35.5% or higher. It features independent phase control for each transmit channel. On the receive side, 32 input channels are combined into two output channels. The total receive gain is 34 dB or greater, and each channel supports individual gain and phase control. The noise figure is 3.5 dB or lower per channel. Built-in monitoring functions include internal temperature monitoring and output signal monitoring.

The VPX3-C11 which provides a full 3U OpenVPX(VITA 65) is a Single Board Computer(SBC) that combines the power, versatility, cost-effectiveness of the 11th generation Intel Xeon W processor and RM590E PCH chipset with the reliability. VPX3-C11 is based on the Intel Xeon W- 11865MLE CPU that has 8 cores running at max 4.5GHz and providing 32Gbytes of high-bandwidth DDR4 SDRAM.
