STIM300 is a small, tactical grade, low weight, high performance non-GPS aided Inertial Measurement Unit. It contains 3 highly accurate MEMS gyros, 3 high stability accelerometers and 3 inclinometers. The IMU is factory calibrated and compensated over its entire operating temperature range. STIM300 is a cost-effective ITAR free solution for systems that only had FOGs as an alternative when reaching for the performance level of that STIM300 can offer. Each axis is factory calibrated for bias, sensitivity and compensated for temperature effects to provide high-accuracy measurements. The unit runs off a single +5V supply and communicates via a RS422 interface. The use of a 32-bit RISC ARM microcontroller provides flexibility in the configuration, like choice of output unit, sampling frequency, LP filter -3dB frequency and RS422 bit-rate and protocol parameters. For more advanced users, STIM277H may be put in Service Mode. In this mode all the configuration parameters can be temporarily or permanently changed by overwriting the current settings in the flash memory. Service Mode also provides the ability to perform single measurements, perform diagnostics and obtain a higher detail in the status byte.

Spring probes are designed to optimize performance in high reliability, multicycle applications. Smiths Interconnect’s spring probes are compliant which makes them ideal for blind mate applications as they self correct for x, y, z, rotational and angular misalignment of the target. Offered in compressed heights less than 2 mm and utilized on pitches as tight as 0.4 mm, they are well suited for high density, board-to-board, battery contact and high frequency applications. Mixed signals and functionality can be designed into a single connector.

In collaboration with Hanwha Systems, we developed and optimized a Transformer-based AI model for ship and aircraft detection on embedded platforms. Targeting NVIDIA Jetson Orin AGX, the project utilized the MSAR (640×640) dataset along with large-scale training databases built from public sources. The RT-DETR model, currently under review, was optimized through hardware-friendly design, Int8 quantization, and specialized inference acceleration. As a result, the solution achieved up to 5x faster inference speed while maintaining accuracy, reaching 20% of NVIDIA TensorRT performance. This demonstrates the ability to deliver reliable, real-time detection capabilities in resource-constrained embedded environments, enabling next-generation defense and surveillance applications.

The mRO-50 Ruggedized is a breakthrough microwave optical double resonance (MODR) low SWaP-C Miniaturized Rubidium Oscillator designed to meet the latest commercial, military and aerospace requirements where time stability and power consumption are critical. It provides a one day holdover below 1µs and a retrace below 1E-10 in a form factor (50.8 x 50.8 x 20mm) that takes up only 51 cc of volume (about one-third of the volume compared to standard rubidiums) and consumes only 0.36W of power, which is about ten times less than existing solutions with similar capabilities. The mRO-50 Ruggedized Oscillator provides accurate frequency and precise time synchronization to mobile applications, such as military radio-pack systems in GNSS-degraded or denied environments. Engine Start Begins with ATS. The Air Turbine Starter (ATS) is a key component of an aircraft's secondary power system, driven by Bleed Air supplied from the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) to accelerate the engine up to approximately 8,900 RPM, enabling engine start. Through the in-house development and localization of the ATS, we have incorporated power generation, optimal design of the shear section with consideration of failure, Containment functionality, as well as lubrication and power transmission systems. In addition, we have secured manufacturing and assembly technologies and continue development aimed at successful operation and the establishment of a mass production system.
