T/FA-50 PTO Shaft, The New Standard for Next-Generation High-Speed Rotating Power Transmission The power transmission shaft (PTO Shaft) applied to the T/FA-50 features in-house designed, optimized flexible couplings that provide excellent durability. In addition, the adoption of high-speed precision balancing technology effectively suppresses vibration and ensures shaft oscillation prevention. While it shares a similar form with the KF-21 power transmission shaft, the T/FA-50 PTO Shaft incorporates unique, dedicated technology, making it distinct. The system development has been completed, and performance improvements are continuously underway with the goal of localization.

This equipment is a thermal imaging system that provides an advanced, lightweight solution for nighttime surveillance. It uses a high-resolution uncooled thermal sensor to detect differences in the thermal signatures of objects across various fields of view. It can also detect a wide range of targets even under adverse weather conditions such as smoke or fog. Between Earth and space: stratosphere-compatible, solar-powered high-altitude aircraft, known as HAPs (High Altitude Platforms), offer a sustainable alternative to satellites for Earth observation and communication. They are reusable, cost-effective and flexible in use. The DLR joint project HAP-alpha is developing such a technology demonstrator and is endeavoring to establish a complete system capable of permanent operation. The aim is for DLR to build up comprehensive expertise for the development of high-performance, high-flying solar aircraft and to play an active role in shaping the legal framework. In summer 2025, the HAP-alpha successfully passed a ground vibration test.

Inserts are used in the aerospace industry in lightweight sandwich panels and are then bonded. The panels can then be screwed or various components can be fastened. However, the manual process has several disadvantages: Enormous expenditure of time for the manual filling of several thousand inserts, high material waste due to relaxation of the material, and high material costs through the use of cartridges. ViscoTec can map the filling process automatically. The dispensing process is absolutely precise. A significant amount of material can thus be saved. In addition, material can be supplied from large containers, which in turn lowers purchase prices. Another important advantage: As a rule, no new specifications have to be made since no changes are made to the actual process.

CarboNIX NEO is an off-the-shelf separation system available in 8", 15", and 24“, 31.6” and 38.81” sizes. It is scalable to any custom diameter for satellites upwards of 1000 kg. While NEO uses the same lock mechanism and pusher arm subsystems as CarboNIX, NEO employs a new clamp ring system which is stronger, stiffer, can withstand higher loads and launch heavier spacecraft than any other separation system on the market.
