The SWIFT-EI is the world’s first SWIR detector to feature a state-of-the-art read-out integrated circuit (ROIC), enabling low size, weight, power, and cost (SWaP-C). It supports VGA image format for SWIR imaging, multi-spot ALPD (asynchronous laser pulse detection), and a rapid imaging frame rate of up to 1,600 frames per second. The revolutionary ROIC introduces an independent neuromorphic imaging stream for event detection, which greatly expands capabilities in target detection and classification. Wing shells, side shells and fuselage sections are usually made of carbon fibre composites and glued together during the production process. With many components, a groove or an open edge remains after the bonding process, which must be filled or sealed. A modified two-component epoxy resin is often mixed and then applied manually. This often entails long production times and complex quality controls. Equally high material costs due to the processing of materials from cartridges. ViscoTec defies short pot life and materials that are difficult to handle: Thanks to a coherent overall system from material removal to material application, this process can be automated. The two components are taken separately from cartridges, hobbocks or drums and fed via hose lines to a two-component dosing system. Only at the very end of the process they are mixed in a static mixing tube and applied to the substrate (e.g. via a nozzle). The process is controlled and monitored by pressure sensors.

Hermetic connectors are a special class of sealed Mil /Aero interconnect that incorporates glass-to-metal or other highly-engineered sealing technology. Hermetic seal connectors are specified for applications as divergent as submarines and orbiting satellites. They are deployed to resist moisture ingress in underground applications and to withstand pressure differentials in vacuum chambers, laboratory equipment and commercial and military aircraft. Hermetic seal connectors, such as the MIL-DTL-38999 Series I, II, III and IV supplied by Glenair, are principally designed for use in military aerospace — in fact, the sealing requirement for connector hermeticity was originally driven by military electronic applications. But the products are equally at home in commercial applications such as oil-patch, logging equipment or medical devices.

International projects The NIDV organizes various opportunities for its participants to improve their international opportunities. Trade fairs and trade missions Participation in trade fairs takes place in close consultation and collaboration with a number of departments. The Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defense and Economic Affairs are involved in the activities. For the government part, the RVO is involved in the creation of the Dutch pavilion and hospitality lounge with the help of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy. In addition to trade fairs and trade missions, the NIDV actively participates in various international projects.
