The MSS enables the operator to test the readiness and performance of Missile Warning Systems (MWS) in the flight line as a routine test and in the laboratory.
The MSS contains a miniature radiation source in the UV or IR band, with single or dual radiation sources. They are modulated by a built-in microprocessor capable of delivering a realistic simulation of the radiation emitted by any missile. The Bomb Rack Unit (BRU) is a device installed on a helicopter’s Stub-wing to mount various armaments such as rocket launchers and air-to-ground missiles, and it consists of a Pylon Unit and a Bomb Rack Unit.
CTLA’s Bomb Rack Unit is equipped with a Boresight function that allows vertical (up/down) and horizontal (left/right) angle adjustments, and a solenoid-actuated free-fall weapon release (Jettison) method is applied.
CTLA’s Bomb Rack Unit has passed the system tests for the Light Armed Helicopter (LAH) and received suitability certification, and it is currently in mass production.

Sparrow-HD is based on two mature sensing material technologies:
• XBn with 4.2μm cut-off, operating at 150K and enabling minimal power consumption
• Hot Full-Mid-Wave (HFM) with 4.85μm cut-off, operating at 120K and supporting up to 200Hz

SCXMC-HDLC(High-level Data Link Control)
The SCXMC-HDLC card operates through the XMC interface of the SBC and provides real-time communication for control and status data based on synchronization signals.
It supports serial communication via the SBCRTM’s Micro D-sub 37-pin connector using a standard D-sub 9-pin interface, allowing long-distance transmission through LVDS signaling.
With four transmit/receive channels, it achieves 1–8 Mbps per channel and delivers low-latency performance of less than 40 µs for real-time operations.
A device driver program is required for operation, and the Linux driver can be downloaded from Seedcore’s product page.
Drivers for other operating systems can be developed upon request.
This module is deployed in the L-SAM multi-function radar system, enabling fast and reliable control data communication across mission-critical components.

GESTRA
Whether satellites, spacecraft or space debris – GESTRA, the "German Experimental Surveillance and Tracking Radar", is a state-of-the-art radar system for observing and tracking objects in space. It operates in the microwave range and explores the Low Earth Orbit of 300 to 3,000 kilometres, i.e. the range in which most satellites and the International Space Station (ISS) are located. This makes it possible, for example, to protect space systems or the ISS from a collision with debris particles by providing a timely warning. Millions of tiny particles orbit the earth and, at a speed of around 28,000 km/h, pose a threat to active space technologies. GESTRA was developed and built by the Fraunhofer Institute for High Frequency Physics and Radar Techniques FHR on behalf of the German Space Agency at DLR.
