A gearbox
refers to a mechanical device made up of various gears to transmit the power needed to rotate a shaft.
Depending on the type of speed transmission, it is divided into a reduction gearbox and an increaser gearbox. If the speed of the driven shaft is lower than that of the drive shaft, it is called a reduction gearbox, and if it is higher, it is called an increaser gearbox. A reduction gearbox is mainly used to obtain high torque by reducing the rotation speed of the drive source (motor) to the required rotation speed, and an increase gearbox is used to obtain high-speed rotation by increasing the limited rotation speed of the drive source (motor). It is used for this purpose.
