Besides the well-proven redundant RS 485 interface, the DA 58-D also features a redundant CAN bus interface. The DA 58-D has been developed for applications with the highest reliability demands. The redundant – two channel – design of the actuator allows continuous operation even if one of the two channels has failed. All major components such as the electric motors, control and communication electronics, and power supply are available twice (redundant). The actuator features a triple-redundant position sensor (2 out of 3 voting). Additionally there are several sensors integrated to provide diagnostic information such as current consumption, supply voltage levels and temperature readings. All major components of the actuator are continuously diagnosed by the microcontrollers of the actuator and its health status can be read via the redundant RS485 / CAN interface.

[Cutting by water jet] Micro water jet cutting: The micro water jet enables a refined process to be carried out in precision cutting. This high-precision technology reduces the jet diameter by a factor of 5 and makes water jet cutting more precise by a factor of 10. The micro water jet achieves a cutting accuracy of +/- 0.01 mm and a positioning accuracy of ±0.005 mm. The proven advantages of the cold cutting process remain unchanged. In the pure water process, the cutting width was reduced to 0.2 mm in the abrasive process for hard materials such as nickel-based alloys and titanium. The new technology controls the cutting process and manipulates the cutting path depending on the contour and speed enabling a highly precise cut. Standard waterjet cutting: Water jet cutting is highly efficient and at the same time less severe than other cutting techniques. Low process forces and thermal loads prevent bending or melting. We can cut filigree delicate contours from practically all nickel alloys and titanium alloys. Using our standard process we can cut a range of shapes and dimensions according to customer requirements and drawings and achieve tolerances of +/- 0.1 mm or +/- 0.2 mm.

CATIS™ is an ultra-high-resolution, small satellite imaging radar device independently developed by Lumir. It consists of three components: the radar signal transmission/reception device SCEU, an active phased array antenna SATA, and a data downlink antenna KaPA. This X-band imaging radar device is designed for small satellites weighing 150 kg, offering an ultra-high resolution of 0.3 m. It transmits wideband RF signals to the observation area while orbiting at an altitude of 500 km and receives the reflected signals to acquire Earth observation data.
