Ophir MKS
Large-mirror optical components design & production
Large mirrors are crucial in various optical systems, particularly long-range multi-spectral setups for defense, surveillance, and commercial use, like UAV optics and agricultural temperature monitoring. Aerospace applications, such as satellites and telescopes, are common. These mirrors come in different shapes and materials, including Al, Si, Ge, and Cu, spanning visible, UV, and IR spectrums. By using advanced CNC grinding, polishing, and diamond turning we provide precise surface forms, with tight tolerances, and multispectral performance. Our mirrors, up to 700mm in diameter, provide impressive specifications: 0.05% radius tolerance, less than 0.5Fr P-V irregularities, 0.1Fr RMS at 0.633μ, and sub-40Å RMS roughness. MKS Ophir's proprietary coatings enhance spectral performance and surface durability. Contact us to set a meeting at ADEX Seoul

Introducing FoldIR 30-450mm f/3.4 long-range, low-SWaP MWIR lens for air-sea-land optical gimbals and payloads
Introducing the FoldIR 30-450mm f/3.4 continuous zoom lens with Ophir's innovative folded optical design, offering lightweight, compact design while maintaining long optical lengths and improved tolerance sensitivity. This design ensures exceptional performance even in challenging environments, addressing stabilization and athermalization issues. Its unique f/3.4 aperture guarantees superior image quality, surpassing larger aperture zoom lenses in diffraction limit MTF and IR signal collection. The lens features a built-in mechanical shutter for NUC control, enhancing image quality through Ophir's control system. Weighting under 2kg, offering an impressive detection range of over 20km, and a horizontal field-of-view of 26.9º (WFOV) and 1.7º (NFOV). This compact, lightweight, long-range, high-performance lens is the ultimate selection of for optical air-land-sea optical gimbals and payloads. Key features include: • Efficient folded optics design for min. volume use • Physical shutter for NUC • Designed for MWIR 10μm SXGA sensors • For air-sea-land gimbals and payloads • Weight <2kg • Detection range >20km • HFOV 26.9º WFOV/ 1.7º NFOV
