The AB-M1300 is a 1.3 ton-class eVTOL AAM. With a wingspan of 10 meters, the AB- M1300 is a crewed–uncrewed hybrid aircraft aiming for commercialization in 2028. Falling under the Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) certification category, it can carry up to two occupants, reach a maximum speed of 400 km/h, operate for two hour of flight time, has a maximum take-off weight (MTOW) of 1.3 tons, and a payload capacity of 250 kg. The AMT-206-1 composite tail rotor blade is a direct replacement for Bell 206A and 206B series helicopter tail rotor blades. Now fitted with a new style of feathering bearings manufactured by KAMATICS. These bearings provide a longer life expectancy, with a patented lining that provides lighter pedal loads and a higher level of chemical resistance, compared to that of the standard fabric Teflon-lined bearings. The AMT-206-1 tail rotor blade has a non-symmetrical airfoil section and incorporates a swept tip. The T/R Blade is primarily fabricated from uni-directional Graphite (carbon fiber) and Aramid (Kevlar™) continuous fibers suspended in an epoxy matrix and is fitted with a nickel abrasion strip on the leading edge. The abrasion strip is bonded on using a urethane adhesive. The AMT-206-1 composite tail rotor blades have a 30% cost advantage, twice the lifespan, higher strength and thrust, and a substantial noise reduction, making them safer and ideal for helicopter operators flying in noise-sensitive areas like national parks and built-up areas.
