MDCX, multipin coax connectors, offer low VSWR of 1.25:1 (typ) up to 10 GHz (max mated pair), maximum overall diameter of 0.125" fitted into low-profile micro-D housing, with constant 50 Ohm airline impedance. MDCX coaxial contacts are compact in size allowing multiple high density connections in a Micro-D style shell for applications where space and weight savings are important. The KF-21 is the project which aims to replae the aged fighters in operation, F-4, and F-5 of the Republic of Korea Air Force and develop the indigenous Korean fighter aircraft which is equipped with performances suitable for the future battlefield of the country's air force. Korea's largest-scaled KF-21 project is the national R&D project with a development span of 10 years and 6 months and is driven with Indonesia under international joint development. Based on its development experience and infrastructure of a homegrown airplane, such as the KT-1 basic trainer, T-50 Advanced Jet Trainer, TA-50 Lead-in-Fighter-Trainer, and FA-50 Light Combat Aircraft, KAI is under development of the KF-21 project successfully.
