Woori DS Co., Ltd. has developed firmware for a cooling and heating air conditioning system that performs all controls, fault diagnosis and communication for heating and cooling control and positive pressure control inside an armored vehicle, and developed an inverter control device capable of controlling communication with the armored vehicle body system and monitoring error situations. We are developing products based on the best technology and competitiveness to satisfy customer requirements for electrical equipment required for armored vehicles. In addition, we have developed an air conditioning system blower durability test device that can test the durability of air conditioning blowers, and we have secured test and evaluation technology for blower durability by checking blower errors and performing cycle management. The EL4000 is an RU/DU-integrated LTE outdoor base station that provides long-distance LTE service outdoors and has been supplied through KT for the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries’ LTE-M network.

We have participated in almost all simulator projects for military aircraft currently in operation in the Republic of Korea (KT-1, KF-16, T-50, FA-50, TA-50, KUH, LAH, KF-21, C-130, etc.), and we produce everything in-house, from mechanism, battlefield, circuit, and firmware design to assembly and testing, using our own personnel and facilities.

Our firm offers end-to-end GaN production capabilities, including fabrication, packaging, test, and failure analysis to meet custom requirements. To enable customer designs, a process design kit (PDK) is available with a design manual, sample layouts, and a non-linear device model. Rolatube IAM (Integrated Antenna Mast) is a lightweight, man-portable communications mast that integrates a high-efficiency dipole antenna directly into its structure—redefining rapid tactical deployment. Built from Rolatube’s proprietary bistable composite, the IAM unrolls to full height without tools, enabling users to connect and transmit in seconds. Available in 3.5 m and 7 m models, the mast weighs just 1.9 kg and packs down to a 150 mm roll, offering unmatched portability for dismounted operations. Designed for reliable RF performance, the IAM ensures no signal loss when in contact with grounded surfaces. Its embedded omni-directional dipole antenna delivers superior range and VOR communication performance compared to traditional systems. The 3.5 m IAM comes in VHF (30–300 MHz) and UHF (136–470 MHz) variants, each available in four colours, with a top-cap socket for L-Band antenna integration, extending the system’s use to applications such as telemetry, GPS, and aircraft surveillance. The mast can be handheld, guyed, or elevated via an integrated rigging point, and is engineered to meet MIL-STD-810G, fully maintenance-free, and resistant to water, dust, and UV. With a wind rating of 100 km/h (62 mph) when guyed, the IAM stands up to demanding field environments while delivering high-performance, elevated communications infrastructure at the tactical edge.

The focus on buy-to-fly ratios highlights the contributing role that near net shape processing can offer. This has undoubtedly been a driver in increasing this service offering from AMA. As a major contributor in the aircraft manufacturing supply chain, this is a key area of development for AMA and its companies. Customers are increasingly looking to optimise their production processes. This is primarily driven by the need to maximise their own spindle time for core business activities, with AMA therefore undertaking some of the machining processes. It can take many forms, from simple cutting to more intricate processing in which near net shape pieces are supplied. Even in AMA businesses whose business is predominantly transactional (so called ‘spot business’) rather than contractual, the processing element is increasing. Pre-machined kits of parts to individual specifications are becoming more commonplace. In addition to freeing up time for customers and OEMs to focus on more profitable final processing, near net shape processes can improve product quality, reduce variability and enhance component design functionality. As the industry continues to search for ways to lower buy-to-fly ratios and reduce the amount of waste, near net shape processing will have a greater role to play.
