Global Wideband Connectivity for Mission Success Honeywell’s JetWave MCX satellite communications system delivers the world’s most advanced high-speed SATCOM capabilities needed for the most demanding mission profiles. It enables global in-flight broadband data connectivity on nearly any Ka-band network – including Inmarsat’s Global Xpress (GX) network, Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS), and other commercial and military Ka-band networks – making it truly network-agnostic for the most extensive global coverage. Built on proven, high-speed JetWave technology, JetWave MCX utilizes a wider frequency band (29-31 GHz Tx and 19.2-21.2 GHz Rx), offering access to commercial and military Ka-bands globally. And the dual polarity configuration provides increased bandwidth in high-traffic areas while meeting high-data uplink requirements that military and government operators require. JetWave MCX is designed with “future-proofing” in mind, exceeding current connectivity requirements while enabling expanded customer connectivity needs in the future. For the unique requirements of military and government operators, JetWave MCX can enable a wide variety of mission-critical applications, such as en-route mission communications, real-time weather, in-flight video conferencing, large file transfer, in-flight mission planning and briefings, ISR video transmission, and secure communications. Our firm offers end-to-end GaN production capabilities, including fabrication, packaging, test, and failure analysis to meet custom requirements. To enable customer designs, a process design kit (PDK) is available with a design manual, sample layouts, and a non-linear device model. Options available include fabrication of customer-designed wafers (“PDK foundry service”) or custom design by TransEON and fabrication according to customer specs (“NRE foundry service”). For either option, volume levels available include pilot/engineering runs, multi-project wafers (MPWs), or full production runs.

Wing shells, side shells and fuselage sections are usually made of carbon fibre composites and glued together during the production process. With many components, a groove or an open edge remains after the bonding process, which must be filled or sealed. A modified two-component epoxy resin is often mixed and then applied manually. This often entails long production times and complex quality controls. Equally high material costs due to the processing of materials from cartridges. ViscoTec defies short pot life and materials that are difficult to handle: Thanks to a coherent overall system from material removal to material application, this process can be automated. The two components are taken separately from cartridges, hobbocks or drums and fed via hose lines to a two-component dosing system. Only at the very end of the process they are mixed in a static mixing tube and applied to the substrate (e.g. via a nozzle). The process is controlled and monitored by pressure sensors.
