LLC-4000 is a cutting-edge 4K low-latency video encoder/decoder purpose-built for tactical operations, reconnaissance, and situational awareness in demanding environments. It delivers reliable real-time video transmission over narrow-bandwidth satellite links and tactical radio systems, enabling uninterrupted communication during critical missions. Engineered with a compact form factor and advanced compression technology, the LLC-4000 is well-suited for remote and mobile deployments where bandwidth is limited. Proven in operational use, the system has been successfully deployed by units of the Japan Ground Self-Defence Force, including amphibious rapid deployment and communications brigades, supporting a wide range of military field operations.

The system is designed to maximise installation flexibility, through optional power and diagnostics data over RF (permitting the use of a single cable), and a highly reconfigurable baseplate to allow the mounting holes and connector type/ position to be tailored to the target platform. Use of Chelton’s established and field-tested GNSS Anti-Jam core firmware provides a high degree of protection against complex threat scenarios and in highly dynamic environments. A software definable core allows future upgradeable ‘Signal Intelligence Apps’ to be hosted, providing the user with situational awareness of the battlefield environment and allows feedback into mission planning activities.

The mission control center's CL-700 receives information transmitted from the operational area SAT-PRE in real time for up to 1,000 units and shares on-site situations by linking with other systems.
