The MD250MW is a 15mm, metal gear, mini servo with dual ball bearings and a cored motor with carbon brushes. Engineered with a programmable digital amplifier and magnetic encoder to deliver high performance and reliability for remote, unmanned aerial vehicles and ground-based automation applications. Operating via DroneCAN (formerly UAVCAN) command protocol at a wide voltage range from 4.8~7.4 volts, this compact actuator produces impressive torque and high speeds in its mini class. Developed by MPS Microsystems, the voice-coil nano-positioner unites a Lorentz-force motor, flexure guidance and on-board electronics inside a 65 × 60 × 38 mm envelope.
