The 20W X-band BUC is a satellite ground transport terminal that includes a receive rejection filter and performs IF-to-X-band upconversion using an internal reference frequency. It features dustproof, moisture-proof, and waterproof protection, along with self-diagnostic functions such as fan and temperature alarms. The unit provides a total gain of over 50 dB and supports a wide bandwidth of 500 MHz. Its frequency stability is maintained within 0.35 ppm.

These units are very compact in size and weight is less than 400 kg. Units in this compartment can have rated output power up to 90 kVA.
