LiFi is a technology that uses 'light' to transmit data instead of using conventional radio waves. LiFi is attracting attention as a future communication technology that can complement or replace the widespread WiFi. LiFi will be applied for the first time in the civil aviation industry and bring great innovation to in-flight communication and entertainment. LiFi's ultra-connectivity, ultra-security and ultra-resiliency are key elements that will enable LiFi technology to 'spin-on' to the defense industry.

Hermetic connectors are a special class of sealed Mil /Aero interconnect that incorporates glass-to-metal or other highly-engineered sealing technology. Hermetic seal connectors are specified for applications as divergent as submarines and orbiting satellites. They are deployed to resist moisture ingress in underground applications and to withstand pressure differentials in vacuum chambers, laboratory equipment and commercial and military aircraft. High Power Polarizing Beamsplitter Cube coatings are deposited on the hypotenuse of right angle prisms that are optically contacted. They are designed to separate an incident beam into its S and P polarization components with an average extinction ratio (TP/TS) in excess of 500 : 1. The incident energy is split into two orthogonally polarized beams that emerge at 90。with respect to each other. These coatings were developed specifically for use in high power pulsed and CW laser applications.
