The SDI170 IMU is designed for demanding, mission-critical, rugged environments and ideal for continuous use applications with no wear-out components, highly linear accelerometer performance and longer life compared to competing alternatives. It is constructed with EMCORE’s latest generation quartz gyros, quartz accelerometers, and high-speed signal processing to achieve outstanding precision performance. The solid-state quartz sensors and hermetically sealed IMU construction provide reliable MTBF and a 20-year operating and storage life. ACMI Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation
The SDT F 16 Combat Training Pod is mounted on F-16 and similar air platforms in an external pod, and ensures efficiency in exercises and in the provision of air-to-air and air-to-ground tactics training to pilots.
SDT F - 16 Combat Training Pod features advanced air-to-air and air-to-ground combat training capabilities, such as real-time autonomous position generation, weapon simulation and real-time hit/miss notification, thanks to its long-range and high-speed RF data link and integrated processors.
The system has mission planning, live monitoring, debriefing and analysis/evaluation features. The SDT F 16 Combat Training Pod enables training in real flight conditions and in multi-threat/target environments. Its high-speed data link and modular design mean that the System is also a Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) training infrastructure.

Precision Sensors
A-C Series Altitude Switch
The A-C series is the most lightweight and low profile altitude switch in the Precision Sensors product line. The capsule based sensing element provides repeatable and precise absolute pressure threshold detection by sensing changes in the ambient air pressure compared to an evacuated capsule. The skeletal construction removes the need for bulky pressure fittings.
Typical uses include aircraft cabin air pressure monitoring.
