SAF-FIRES™ is a standards-based, image generator agnostic, and scalable Call-For-Fire and Close Air Support training simulation with autonomous Smart Trainer suitable for deployment in Joint Fires and accreditable JTAC training simulators. Built upon the same Call-For-Fire and Close Air Support software engine that powers the accredited simulation Fires FST™, SAF-FIRESTM delivers the same mature and complete Joint Fires training solution but makes it available for integration with any DIS, HLA or CIGI compatible simulation or Image Generator. Since the start of the ROK and US military aircraft maintenance program in 1978, Korean Air has grown into the largest military aircraft maintenance facility in the Asia-Pacific region, having delivered more than 4,700 military aircraft. We established and maintain a cooperative relationship with ROK and USG military to support the comprehensive maintenance of military aircraft, from F-4, F-15, F-16, A-10, UH-60, to CH-47, and more. Based on Korean Air's expertise in commercial aviation operation, we plan to introduce the "Performance-Based Logistics System", a next-generation maintenance support concept, to realize high-level follow-up military support services.
