Whether satellites, spacecraft or space debris – GESTRA, the "German Experimental Surveillance and Tracking Radar", is a state-of-the-art radar system for observing and tracking objects in space. It operates in the microwave range and explores the Low Earth Orbit of 300 to 3,000 kilometres, i.e. the range in which most satellites and the International Space Station (ISS) are located. This makes it possible, for example, to protect space systems or the ISS from a collision with debris particles by providing a timely warning. Millions of tiny particles orbit the earth and, at a speed of around 28,000 km/h, pose a threat to active space technologies. GESTRA was developed and built by the Fraunhofer Institute for High Frequency Physics and Radar Techniques FHR on behalf of the German Space Agency at DLR.

Drone integration further strengthens site management by providing up-to-date aerial visuals, reducing blind spots and enabling rapid response to field changes. In addition, the platform links design drawings with cadastral maps to streamline permitting, track construction progress, and manage change orders with geographic accuracy. The X-BEAM TECH HXB Connectors, featuring expanded beam technology, hermaphroditic connection, rugged construction for field deployment have been designed for harsh environment applications such as military tactical communications, avionics, offshore systems, outside broadcast, mining and plant.

The expanded beam technology uses expanded and collimated beams to couple optical fibers without any contact. It could allow for optics to be used in areas that have been quite restrictive due to presence of damage or contamination at the fiber end. Hermaphroditic connector design enables fast deployment by daisy-chaining multiple cable segments. HXB series connectors also enable transfer of electrical signal or power using hybrid insert configuration.

MPS Microsystems is specialized in manufacturing high-precision, miniature linear bearings. We offer a comprehensive range of exceptionally smooth bearings with bore diameters from Ø 2 mm to Ø 6 mm. The balls of these precision bearings meet ‘Grade 3’, the highest quality defined by the ISO 3290/DIN 5401 standard. Combined with a cage and a high precision casing, they allow rapid positioning while reducing friction and eliminating the stick-slip effect. The standard version of MPS Microsystems linear bearings consists of a stainless steel bushing and balls, and a brass cage. An all-stainless steel version or one with ceramic balls can be made on request.

The SC-SBCRTM-V2 is a Rear Transition Module (RTM) designed to extend the I/O functionality of the SBC6511 single-board computer. Mounted on the rear side of the main VPX backplane, this module provides additional I/O expansion through Micro-D and D-sub connectors for synchronization signals, two Ethernet ports, two Mini-DisplayPort video outputs, two USB interfaces, and MMCX connectors. It enhances system flexibility and connectivity for embedded and radar signal-processing applications.
