The Defence Technological and Industrial Bases is indispensable for maintaining peace and security. After all, it provides an armed force with services and equipment. If it does not, the armed forces are left hobbled. This also applies to the Dutch armed forces. Nevertheless, the defence and security sector is experiencing difficulties in accessing private finance. Referring to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria, companies in the sector would not be able to access private financing from pension institutions, insurers and financial service providers. Because of the same criteria, the sector is experiencing difficulties in opening accounts with private banks. Below is summary on the current state of the issue.

The SC-SSGMRTM, a Seedcore Co., Ltd representative product, is a backplane transmission module that performs the I/O function of the SSGM(Synchronous Signal Generation Module). When the SSGM(Synchronous Signal Generation Module) board is plugged into the motherboard(Backplane) in front of the Chassis, you can extend the I/O function of the board by plugging the SC-SSGMRTM board into the back of the Backplane. The SCXMC-HDLC card operates through the XMC interface of the SBC and provides real-time communication for control and status data based on synchronization signals. It supports serial communication via the SBCRTM’s Micro D-sub 37-pin connector using a standard D-sub 9-pin interface, allowing long-distance transmission through LVDS signaling. With four transmit/receive channels, it achieves 1–8 Mbps per channel and delivers low-latency performance of less than 40 µs for real-time operations. A device driver program is required for operation, and the Linux driver can be downloaded from Seedcore’s product page. Drivers for other operating systems can be developed upon request. This module is deployed in the L-SAM multi-function radar system, enabling fast and reliable control data communication across mission-critical components.

The 20W X-band BUC is a satellite ground transport terminal that includes a receive rejection filter and performs IF-to-X-band upconversion using an internal reference frequency. It features dustproof, moisture-proof, and waterproof protection, along with self-diagnostic functions such as fan and temperature alarms. The unit provides a total gain of over 50 dB and supports a wide bandwidth of 500 MHz. Its frequency stability is maintained within 0.35 ppm.
